How FBA Shipping from China Works

  1. You create a shipment plan in Amazon Seller Central, specifying the products, quantities, and destination fulfillment center.
  2. Share the plan with us. Subsequently, we review the plan details including box content information, shipping labels, and delivery requirements.
  3. We coordinate with your supplier. Our China team arranges cargo pickup from your factory or trading company.
  4. Export and shipping. After that, we handle Chinese export customs and book your cargo on an ocean vessel or air flight depending on your timeline.
  5. US customs clearance. Our customs brokerage team clears your goods through US Customs.
  6. FBA prep. At our warehouse, we apply FNSKU labels, inspect for damage, palletize, and prepare the shipment to Amazon specifications.
  7. Delivery to Amazon. Finally, we schedule an appointment and deliver directly to the assigned fulfillment center.

Wrong Labels

First, Amazon rejects shipments with incorrect or missing FNSKU barcodes. As a matter of fact, our prep team verifies every label against your shipment plan before cargo leaves the warehouse. Oversized Cartons

Similarly, Amazon limits individual carton weight to 50 lbs for non-palletized shipments. However, Chinese suppliers often pack heavier cartons by default. Therefore, we catch this during inspection and repack when necessary.

Missing ISF Filing

For ocean shipments, US Customs requires an Importer Security Filing (ISF) at least 24 hours before the vessel departs China. Notably, missing this deadline triggers a $5,000 fine per shipment. Consequently, we file ISF automatically as part of our process.

No Customs Bond

Furthermore, importing commercial goods into the US requires a customs bond. In reality, first-time importers often discover this requirement at the last minute, causing delays. Therefore, we set up your bond before your first shipment so there are no surprises.
