Getting inventory from a Chinese factory into an Amazon fulfillment center is where most sellers lose money they never see. A carton gets rejected at receiving. A shipment sits in customs for two weeks. An appointment gets missed and the truck turns around. WWS Cargo has worked as an Amazon FBA freight forwarder for sellers shipping out of China since 2016, and we launched our dedicated FBA service in 2026. We are a small team on purpose, and the people who run the company are the people who handle your shipment.
Send us a shipment and you get a quote back within two hours on a business day. Urgent restocks get quoted in under thirty minutes.
What an Amazon FBA Freight Forwarder Does
An Amazon FBA freight forwarder owns the middle of your supply chain: everything between your supplier’s loading dock and Amazon’s receiving door. That means booking cargo space, clearing export and import customs, applying FBA labels, and delivering palletized freight that meets Amazon’s receiving requirements on the first attempt.
The difference between a general forwarder and an FBA specialist shows up in the details a general forwarder has no reason to know. Shipment plan compliance. Appointment scheduling at the fulfillment center. Carton content label accuracy. Pallet dimensions. Any one of them can hold your inventory at the door.

Why Sellers Choose WWS Cargo
We are not a general logistics company that bolted on an Amazon service. FBA is the work.
We know the 2026 playbook
Amazon ended its US prep service, and sellers who ship unprepped cartons get held at receiving. That single change is the biggest thing to happen to FBA freight in years. We have moved over 800 compliant shipments under the new policy, and none of them has been refused at FC receiving.
An Amazon FBA freight forwarder that speaks Amazon
Seller Central workflows, shipment plans, FNSKU barcodes, case-pack rules, and the policy changes that arrive without much warning. We catch compliance problems in our warehouse, which is the only place they are cheap to fix.
One lane, one accountable team
Most sellers stitch together a forwarder, a separate customs broker, a prep center, and a drayage carrier. When something goes wrong, each one points at the others. We coordinate the full lane as one service with one invoice and one point of contact. Customs entries are filed by our licensed partner brokers, and prep runs through our partner warehouse, but you deal with us throughout.
Predictable pricing
Our quotes carry every line item: freight, destination port fees, duty, customs clearance, per-unit prep labor, drayage, and the FC appointment fee. Duty is passed through at actual cost. We do not mark it up.
We will talk you out of the wrong mode
For shipments under 50 kg, express courier is usually cheaper, and we will say so even though we earn less on it. Cheap freight that ends in held inventory costs far more than doing it properly the first time.

How FBA Shipping from China Works
Here is the sequence, start to finish.
- You create a shipment plan in Seller Central with products, quantities, and the destination fulfillment center.
- Send us the plan along with your commercial invoice, packing list, and origin address. We review box content, labels, and delivery requirements, then quote.
- Book. Approve the quote and we reserve capacity. Budget one week for air, two to three weeks for ocean LCL, and three to four weeks for FCL in peak season.
- Pickup and export. Our China team collects from your factory or trading company and handles Chinese export customs.
- US customs clearance. Our licensed partner brokers file the entry and clear your goods, with the ISF submitted well inside the deadline.
- Prep. Cargo routes to our partner warehouse for FNSKU labeling, inspection, polybagging, and any relabel the 2026 policy requires.
- Delivery to Amazon. We book the appointment through Carrier Central and deliver to the assigned FC.
Your inventory then shows as inbound in Seller Central and is usually sellable within three to seven business days of receiving.
Pricing Transparency
Few forwarders publish numbers. We do, because a range you can plan around beats a quote you have to chase. Real pricing moves with volume, lane, season, and fuel surcharges, so treat these as indicative and confirm when you request a quote.
| Lane | Mode | Ballpark (door-to-FBA, USD) |
|---|---|---|
| Shenzhen to LGB4 (LA area) | Ocean LCL, 10 m³ | $3,200 to $4,100 |
| Shenzhen to JFK8 (NJ/NY area) | Ocean LCL, 10 m³ | $3,800 to $4,800 |
| Shenzhen to MDW2 (Chicago area) | Ocean FCL, 40-ft | $5,400 to $6,900 |
| Shenzhen to any US FC | Air freight, 300 kg | $2,800 to $4,200 |
| Ho Chi Minh to LGB4 | Ocean LCL, 10 m³ | $3,000 to $3,800 |
| Rotterdam to EWR4 (NJ) | Ocean LCL, 10 m³ | $2,700 to $3,500 |
Those figures include origin pickup, freight, US customs clearance, duty pass-through, warehouse prep up to 2,000 units, and drayage to the fulfillment center.
Ocean or Air
Ocean runs 20 to 35 days door to door and suits planned restocks and larger volumes, starting at 1 CBM for LCL. Air runs 5 to 10 days and earns its cost on launches, urgent restocks, and small shipments quoted case by case. Most sellers who ship well use both: a steady ocean schedule for base inventory, air to cover the gaps.
Common Mistakes FBA Sellers Make
Wrong labels
Amazon rejects shipments with missing or incorrect FNSKU barcodes. Our prep team checks every label against your shipment plan before cargo leaves the warehouse, which is the last moment a fix is free.
Oversized cartons
Amazon caps carton weight at 50 lbs for non-palletized shipments, and Chinese suppliers routinely pack heavier by default. We catch it at inspection and repack.
Missing ISF filing
US Customs requires an Importer Security Filing at least 24 hours before the vessel departs China. Miss it and the fine is $5,000 per shipment. We file it as part of the process, not as an extra.
No customs bond
Importing commercial goods into the US requires a bond, and first-time importers usually discover this at the worst possible moment. We set yours up before your first shipment moves.
Common Questions
How fast can you quote a new shipment?
Within two hours on a business day. Urgent restocks are flagged and quoted in under thirty minutes.
Can you ship to any Amazon fulfillment center?
Yes, anywhere in the continental United States. Amazon assigns the destination when you build the shipment plan and we deliver there.
Do you handle small shipments or only large ones?
Both. Small first shipments are welcome and quoted case by case. If a courier would genuinely serve you better, we will tell you.
Do you handle product inspection in China?
Yes. Our inspectors check quality, packaging, labeling, and carton count at your supplier’s factory before cargo ships.
What if Amazon changes the fulfillment center after I create the plan?
It happens. We adjust routing at no extra charge as long as the change lands before delivery is scheduled.
Can you handle products needing FDA, FCC, or other compliance?
Yes. We regularly clear electronics, children’s products, food and supplements, and cosmetics.
Do you offer DDP?
Yes. DDP is simpler but usually more expensive. For sellers moving more than three or four containers a year, DAP with our brokerage is often cheaper. See our DDP shipping option.
What happens if Amazon refuses receiving?
If the refusal is our fault, whether a paperwork error, a missed appointment, or a labeling miss, we handle the reroute. If it stems from a shipment plan change mid-transit or an Amazon-side issue, we reroute at actual cost with no markup.
How do I get started as a first-time importer?
We walk you through customs bond setup, HTS classification, the shipment plan, and FBA compliance. Ask for a quote and say it is your first import.
